• What paperwork do I need to be able to sell scrap metal to AGER?

  • You must have a valid ID and be at least 18 years old.To sell complete air conditioning units that were installed by a contractor, you must have the receipt of purchase or proof of change out from certified installer.A letter from the installer will suffice.

• Can I recycle appliances? 

  • Yes, We accept all types of appliances that contain metal including water heaters, dishwashers, washing machines, dryers, grills and refrigerators and freezers (if refrigerant has been evacuated).

 

• Do I need to drain the fluids from my scrap before bringing it in?

  • Yes, please drain all liquids from all materials.

 

• Do you pick up?

  • AGER can arrange for pick up of automobiles.  We schedule one day a week to pick up cars and trucks.  Call to schedule pick up 229-924-3004.  As for large quantities of metal, we can provide roll-off or semi transport, if volume of material warrants the cost.

 

• Do I need a title to sell a vehicle? 

  • State law dictates age of vehicle which can be sold without a title. Contact AGER to discuss.

 

• ​Do you sell car parts? 

  • No we do not sell car parts, our cars are scrapped.

Metal Theft Policy-

AGER does not accept scrap that we cannot confirm as legitimate, metal theft is a growing concern, at AGER we train our employees to:

• Inspect materials carefully

• Document all transactions, including picture id, thumbprint, and pictures of materials

• Learning our customers

• Cooperation with local law enforcement officials

If you suspect something you have has been stolen, please contact your local law enforcement officials first.  Our company is not responsible to locate your material.  We cannot cooperate with out a full police report.
